IMPLANTS

Dental implants are titanium artificial roots that are inserted into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. They provide a stable base for crowns, bridges, or dentures, restoring dental function and aesthetics. Implants improve chewing, speech, and appearance, while also preventing bone loss.

WHAT ADVANTAGES DO IMPLANTS HAVE OVER OTHER ALTERNATIVES?

Dental implants are the most effective and long-lasting solution for replacing missing teeth.

TYPES OF DENTAL IMPLANTS:

CONVENTIONAL IMPLANT:

  • Tooth extraction.
  • Implant placement.
  • Crown placement.

IMMEDIATE IMPLANTS:

  • Tooth extraction and implant placement.
  • Crown placement.
An atraumatic tooth extraction is performed, and during the same surgery, the implant is placed. This reduces the waiting time between the tooth extraction and the placement of the crown on the implant.

IMMEDIATE LOAD IMPLANT:

  • Tooth extraction, implant placement, and temporary prosthesis at the same time.
  • Permanent prosthesis placement.
Implants are placed, and the patient leaves the office with “fixed teeth.” Typically, fractured or irreparable teeth are extracted, implants are placed, and a fixed temporary prosthesis is fitted, remaining in the mouth until the final prosthesis is ready after 4-6 months, depending on the bone and implant location.

This way, the patient does not need to wear a removable prosthesis during the healing of the implants.

These options are evaluated beforehand by our team.

We also perform other techniques, sometimes necessary, to be able to place dental implants, such as sinus lifts, bone regeneration, and bone grafts.
